Job Description

Builds and maintains effective relationships with individuals and organizations, to include community/religious organizations, state/local government agencies, non-government service providers, public safety agencies, and other relevant stakeholders;

Implements community outreach programs, organizes events, collaborates with volunteers and develops public relations strategies that promotes the agency's mission;

Informs community representatives of government decision, changes in policy and other relevant matters which may impact communities;

Provides information regarding comprehensive program and organizational resources to communities, which includes program support, volunteer recruitment and government services;

Researches, draft and creates materials for presentations and events;

Distributes information regarding County Government services and events;

Assists in the coordination and implementation of special events, public relations projects and exhibits to reflect the needs and interest of diverse communities;

Answers citizens inquires and documents all issues; and,

Willingly and cooperatively performs other tasks and duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the position description, however, are within the general occupational category and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's class of work.
