Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Works closely with the Associate Director of IT Service Management, Office of Information Technology Executive Leadership, and Rutgers IT units.
Demonstrates the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively solicit and capture business and technical requirements; develop, test, and implement system configurations and workflows; diagnose the underlying drivers of performance gaps; inform continuous improvement initiatives, and demonstrate the ROI and business value of SMO-managed systems and cloud services.
Applies effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help demonstrate the business value of OIT’s investment in the Rutgers University ITSM platform (ServiceNow).
Serves as the Rutgers IT SMO business applications administrator for SMO-managed systems and cloud services.
Works closely with the ServiceNow ITSM Application Developer team and the ServiceNow Enterprise Application Services (EAS) Platform Administration team to support the on-going administration and day-to-day operations of ServiceNow ITSM applications and modules.
